World Environment Day passed relatively unnoticed because of the understandably pressing issues relating to the coronavirus challenge and the 'Black Lives Matter' protests. Yet, it will be a disaster for our planet if we don’t take active steps to address the environmental challenges that face us.

Redbridge Council’s website says virtually nothing about the environment. A page titled 'Green Living and the Environment' was last updated in May 2015 – yes, three years ago!

We, your local 'Focus Team', believe that the people of Churchfields and the Borough as a whole deserve much more from our Council. If you think similarly, please let us know what you would like to see done – the changes that should urgently be made. We will continue to vigorously challenge the Council to do more to make Redbridge a greener and safer place in which to live.
